About Beginnings Bend Preschool

 

Beginnings Bend Preschool was founded on the belief that every child deserves a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. Our experienced, dedicated teachers are passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering a love of learning in each child.

As a Christian preschool, we instill values of kindness, compassion, and respect. We believe our unique Storyline curriculum, combined with our focus on STEM, literacy, and the arts, provides a strong foundation for kindergarten success.

Sally Sherfey

M.Ed. – Director, Teacher

Sally is both Head Teacher of the Robins program and Director of Beginnings Preschool. She brings over 30 years of teaching young children both in the United States and in Southeast Asia. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a BA and a Masters in Education. She is a Master Trainer for the Oregon Association for the Education of Young Children and holds an Oregon Teachers License.

She is a master teacher for early childhood education for the state of Oregon and Oregon certified teacher

Teri Donatoni

B.A. – Teacher

Teri is a Team Teacher of the Robins Program. She brings over 20 years of experience Teaching young children. She was Director of Fort Funnigan at Sunriver Resort in Oregon for 10 years and then Camp Director at Ojai Valley Inn Spa in California. She has taught in the Bend Public Schools assisting in her children's classrooms.
  Both of her children have attended Beginnings Preschool.
 
Teri graduated from the University of Idaho with a BS in Outdoor Recreation and Leadership

Both teachers are passionate about teaching young children.
